flyit: Terms of Use

1.Acceptance

You accept these terms by tapping the sign-in button on the screen that links to them (Article 438(3) of the Civil Code). If you do not agree, do not sign in or use the App. The App is for people over 14.

2.What flyit is

flyit helps you follow your trip: it stores tickets and flights, shows status, gate, terminal and aircraft position, reminds you of trip stages, helps you find your way in the airport, keeps documents and loyalty cards on the device, opens online check-in on the airline’s site, counts flight statistics and lets you compare them with friends, chat in a flight chat and share a link to your flight’s position. It has reference sections (guide, phrasebook) and games.

The App is in development (alpha). Features may change, work intermittently or be removed.

3.Licence

LLC “MAXOS” grants you, free of charge, a simple (non-exclusive) licence to use the App for its intended purpose for personal non-commercial use by installing, running and displaying it on your devices, worldwide, for the term of these terms. Rights in the App, its name and design belong to LLC “MAXOS” or are used lawfully. Third-party open-source components are used under their licences. You may not copy, modify, decompile or distribute the App except where the law expressly allows (Article 1280 of the Civil Code).

Basic features are free. If paid features appear, their terms (price, auto-renewal, refunds) will be published separately and shown before payment.

4.Account

You sign in with Yandex ID or VK ID. You are responsible for the security of that account and your device and for the accuracy of your profile. You can delete the account at any time: “Profile” → “Delete account”, or as described on “flyit: Account Deletion”.

5.Rules of use

You may not:

• add other people’s tickets and documents without their consent;
• try to access the server or other accounts, or bypass protection and limits;
• create excessive load or use automated tools for mass requests;
• break the law or other people’s rights.

6.Flight chat, friends and user content

In the flight chat, passengers on that flight see your messages under a random alias. In the chat and profile you may not post:

• information whose dissemination is prohibited by Russian law (including Articles 10 and 15.1 of the Law on Information);
• insults, threats, harassment, calls to violence, discrimination;
• spam, advertising, scam links;
• false reports of threats to flight safety;
• personal data of others or your own (phone, address, booking code, document details);
• third-party intellectual property without permission.

You can report a message by long-pressing it and hide a user. We review reports within a reasonable time and may, without prior notice, remove messages that break these rules and restrict access to the chat or the account. LLC “MAXOS” does not create or edit user messages; their authors are responsible for them.

By posting messages and a profile photo you keep your rights in them and, free of charge, allow LLC “MAXOS” to store them and show them to other users within the App’s features for as long as they are kept.

Friends are added only by code and after confirmation; you can remove a friend at any time.

7.“Follow my flight” link

You create and share the link. Anyone with it can open a page showing the flight and aircraft position without names or ticket data. The link works while the account exists.

8.Partner offers

The “Before your trip” section may show ads for partners’ goods and services (insurance, mobile data, transfers, accommodation). Ads are labelled as required by the Russian Law on Advertising. You contract with the partner on its terms; LLC “MAXOS” is not a party and does not pass your data to the partner.

9.Flight data, maps and reference information

Flight status and times, gate, terminal, aircraft position, airport maps, check-in deadlines, connection info, guide and phrasebook are for reference and may be inaccurate or out of date. Official information comes from the airline and the airport. The Sheremetyevo map is built from public data on the airport’s website. City photos come from Wikimedia Commons under their licences with author credit.

10.Liability

The App is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, LLC “MAXOS” is not liable for missed flights and connections, errors in reference data, connection outages, failures on the side of Yandex, VK, airlines and other third parties, user messages or partners’ services. This does not limit rights that cannot be limited by law, including consumer rights, and does not release LLC “MAXOS” from liability for intentional breach (Article 401(4) of the Civil Code).

11.Restriction and termination

You may end these terms at any time by deleting the account. If you breach these terms or the law, LLC “MAXOS” may restrict access to some features or to the account and tell you in the App or by email if provided. You can challenge the decision by writing through the contact form on the Contact page or by email to support@maxossoftware.com. After termination data is deleted under the flyit Privacy Policy.

12.Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Russian law. You may first try to settle a dispute by sending a claim through the contact form on the Contact page or by email to support@maxossoftware.com; we reply within 30 days. Disputes with businesses go to the court at LLC “MAXOS”’s location (Stavropol). Consumers may go to court under Article 17 of the Consumer Protection Law without a mandatory claim.

13.Changes

A new version is published on this page. We announce material changes in the App at least 10 days before they take effect. If you disagree, you can delete the account; continued use after that date means you accept them.
